Biocoenosis :
The terroir of this plot is distinguished by its constant coolness and moisture throughout the year. These conditions favor a thriving and abundant underground life, with intense biological activity. The presence of hedges and a nearby stream allows this biodiversity to develop rapidly year-round, both at the level of bacteria and insects.
Biotope :
Located in the lower part of a small geological amphitheater called the Gorges du Cormont, this plot is mainly composed of very pure brown clay, with only rare limestone stones. The soil is deep, with a layer of Campanian chalk found at more than 2.40 meters depth.
